About Jeff & Jenny's Garden
We started work on this garden about three years ago. Most of the garden is very exposed - it's windy here when it's balmy elsewhere in Mileham. The first thing we did was to plant over two thousand hedge plants, which in time will provide shelter and 'rooms' for different planting. We have various plants sequestered, waiting to be moved out into the main garden once there is a little more shelter and we can develop microclimates. This is definitely a project for the long term.
The garden attracts a good range of wildlife and there is a sizeable population of hedgehogs and bats. Tawny owls and stock doves nest in the garden. There is a separate set of photos for wildlife below the garden and plant pictures.

Wonderful conservation vision and much hard work, with a great sense of peace. Beautiful photos of the wildlife and the hand tended species.
