We have transformed the garden in the six years we have lived here:
A fenced vegetable plot has been removed and new beds cut out. These have been planted mainly with grasses and hostas together with a few other plants to give a splash of colour. New grass paths were also added. The greenhouse was removed, where the seating area now is, and rehoused in the village (thank you Kathy and Tony). The overgrown pond has been emptied and replanted.
More work is planned in the autumn including a new rockery and another bed for plants. We remain incredibly enthusiastic amateur gardeners.
What a blessing this garden has been during lockdown.
